Since 1974

Since 1974, Downeast Candies has been making fudge and saltwater taffy using old New England family recipes, using the finest ingredients available, including heavy cream, fresh dairy butter, pure chocolate and natural flavors. The original family recipes didn't include additives and preservatives, so naturally today's Downeast products don't have additives and preservatives. All of Downeast's products are made at the little shop on the By-Way in beautiful downtown Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
